My dream came true back in 2017 when I changed my life around, packing in my 9 to 5 job, founding Just Married Barcelona, helping couples from all over the world plan and design the destination wedding of their dreams in Catalonia, Spain.
I have always had a major interest in people, their languages and cultures. I love travelling to different countries, learning about the different ways of life and the traditions, talking to the people of that part of the world, and listening to their life stories.
I moved to Costa Brava, in the north of Catalonia, when I was 6 years old. My parents decided to emigrate here from the UK. I now I live near Sitges, Barcelona, with my small family. Surrounded by hills and vineyards overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, I couldn’t be luckier to call this amazing place home.
I am multilingual, I speak the local languages and I have the know how. Together with my team, we have planned and designed bespoke celebrations and weddings for couples of different nationalities, and cultures. I am very proud to say that our work has been published in renowned magazines such as Hello and Brides, in several countries, and in blogs such Style Me Pretty, Junebug Weddings… among others. But what makes me happy is to see how your wedding vision comes to life. As one of my fellow colleagues and mentors say, we have the gift of creating magic, and I love to do just that for you.
Judit has over ten years experience working in the events industry. Graduated in Tourism she started her work experience as a planner assistant at a very well know venue in the Barcelona area where she soon grew to become the events manager. Captivated by the personalisation and creativity in wedding planning and designing, Judit joined the team looking to express her creativeness in each celebration she plans.
Together with Judit we analyse each of our couples visions and create unique events for our couples.
Mar is our newest team member. Brought up in the Costa Brava, Mar decided to move closer to the city pursuing her dream as a destination wedding planner and designer. As our youngest team member, she always brings shiny fun ideas to the team brainstorming meetings. Mar is full of energy and is a key team member when planning and assisting Judit and myself throughout the wedding season.
