Kevwe Rotimi
Kevwe and Rotimi dreamed of their white wedding in Barcelona, and even though we visited different venues, Kevwe knew from back home in the US that Castell de Sant Marçal was the venue where she pictured herself and Rotimi exchanging their vows.
A wedding full of details and some Nigerian traditions, even thought the couple had had their Nigerian tribal wedding before the one we celebrated in Barcelona, we still incorporated some cultural aspects to the wedding here.
We designed the wedding to have an elegant and sophisticated look. All the florals were white at the ceremony, and then we incorporated colour at the cocktail hour and reception.
The ceremony was held in front of the lake, with the castle as the backdrop, we had a round stage surrounded by baby’s breath where the couple had a religious blessing.
After the ceremony the couple enjoyed the cocktail hour with their friends and family, entertained by acrobats that walked around the garden on stilts.
The dinner took place under the trees, first the guests took their seats and then the families entered Nigerian style, dancing into the dinner area. The Wedding Party were the last to dance in, followed by the bride and groom who had their first dance in the middle of the dining tables.
Kevwe and Rotimi cut their personalized cake surrounded by their guests. At the moment of cutting the cake, a firework display started, which then led the guests to the afterparty in the orangerie.
A wedding full of details where our bride designed her and her mom’s dresses, she had personalized embroidered messages on her gloves, a super special cake with blue iced flowers surrounding it, among many other details.
