When we met Sophie &  Joanna, they were still undecided on the venue, they wanted to be within the proximity of Barcelona city, so we arranged a couple of visits to different venues. It was clear when we walked into the grounds of the Xalet del Nin that they had found their venue.

Sophie and Joanna chose to get ready at the venue, and then we arranged a First Look in the gardens with the sea as the backdrop. I must admit we have grown fond of First Looks over the years as this moment is such a sweet intimate one where our couples get to see each other and calm their nerves before the ceremony. It’s kind of a reassurance between them, hey, I’m here, I’m ready and let’s do this! A sacred intimate moment before all the guests arrive…

Designing their wedding was really fun as we added some Vietnamese touches. We created a photocall at the cocktail party with authentic silk lamps. At the reception the guests had to remember the Chinese numbers on the tables to find their seats! And the girls even surprised their guests at the end of the night by changing into the amazing chinese party outfits that Sophie’s talented niece had designed especially for their after party! One again, the fun loving couple had prepared a choreographed first dance, starting the party off with the well known DJ, Mar Arans.

These girls thought out all the details of their wedding day, making it a truly memorable one, celebrating their love, and of course, having an amazing party! Their wedding was a real blast!
